7 Principles for a Dynamic Life: Reflect & Recreate (Key 6)

It’s critical, in order to have a Dynamic Life, to press the “pause button” occasionally. Breathe! Step out of the whirlwind of life!

A ‘Dynamic Life’ sounds like a life of perpetual motion, but it has margins, places where we can find center and calm.

Ask yourself, “what do you really feel? What do you really want? When was the last time you checked in with yourself to answer these questions? It’s time to take a moment to fill up your mental and emotional savings accounts for you to go out into the world and share who you are.

I love the Hershey’s commercial with 94-year-old Bob Williams who hands out candy bars every day to children and adults. This is someone connected with how they feel, pausing for the deliciousness of life and sharing himself with the world around him.

During this very interesting time, instead of wandering all over exploring the globe, I did new classes and read books I never would’ve taken the time for.

Fun Fact: Did you know that much of our modern science actually was know a millennium prior to Renaissance Europe? They had actually discovered much of the math and sciences in Central Asia in as early as 5oo AD!

Set aside time…even just a moment…just for you. Step outside and get some fresh air, Take a candlelit bubble bath. Do 15 min of yoga. A minute of breathing can do a world of good. Creating margins in between all your busy-ness can give you a Dynamic Life.
